The project
After teaming up with Les Fées Spéciales to create the immersive VR application MecaleoVR, the Institut de France decided to reunite the same team for the creation of a web archive of the Italian inventor.
We’ve recently been helping define the sound design and mix of a new digital archive, conceived as a way to make accessible and understandable to a wider audience the small notebooks left by LeonardoDaVinci, kept by the Institut de France. The full app allows for a digital access to some of those notebooks, with added explications to help understand, contextualize and decypher the
labyrinthine thought process of the Italian inventor.
