The project

Our long time collaborators at Les Fées Spéciales were presenting their work at 2023’s Toulouse based Cartoon Forum. With a lot of new material to showcase, we decided to work with them on a new music to illustrate the studio’s distinctive and ambitious visual proposition. More than a showreel, this is also a statement of the multiplicity of craftsmanship and interdisciplinary work produced and supported by the studio throughout the years.

Musical approach

We wanted the music to not sound like a traditional trailer, but rather like a journey that encompasses the multiplicity of themes, formats, and emotions that run through this wide range of projects, while keeping it coherent and warm in terms of sonic textures. We hope the composition catches the simultaneously modern and artisanal strength of Les Fées Spéciales’s unique visual landscape.
