This Friday we will donate 100% of our sales, in addition to Bandcamp giving their share of every transaction made on the platform to Trans Law Center as part of the #TransRightsAreHumanRights action.

We think it's important to both support Bandcamp's action and put a spotlight on the condition of Trans people, their difficulties, the huge amount of complications they've got to face, and that sadly includes the music industry.

Despite some sporadic efforts at better representation, the music landscape is still an extremely complicated and agressive space to navigate for anyone in the Transgender spectrum, and it's no surprise that the website who feels the most inclined to tackle this issue would be Bandcamp. They've tirelessly put the spotlight on both trans and queer LGBTQI+ artists, raised the issues and tried to shine a light on Trans art, music, and political work.

This is why to us, supporting Trans Law Center through Bandcamp means much more than just raising funds, it's also about doing it the right way, with the right people, through a business model that proved it's willingness to do good from the start, and keeps improving in a way that's not detrimental to artists and communities discriminated against.
